Heavy Load
"Heavy transport in the rainforest. For the Sao Manoel hydroelectric power plant in the heart of Brazil, massive elements have to be delivered over a long and arduous route. The transformers weigh more than 200 tonnes each - the way to the destination, almost 4000 kilometres. Heat, dust and dirt roads that are completely dry and full of bumps. The journey becomes dangerous, sometimes it's a matter of centimetres. Then comes the river crossing - with more than 200 tonnes of cargo. The current is unhurried, but what the river swallows is lost. The transport takes seven weeks and delays cost money, breakdowns cost a lot of money - mistakes must not be made here."

Climate Crisis
"The climate crisis is the defining issue of our time. Over the years, planet Earth has gone through many natural cycles. But today, mankind is accelerating the cycle. We are causing the world to heat up, and this causes negative impacts. The year 2021 has seen a series of devastating climate disasters all around the globe that caught the world’s attention. The temperatures were so extreme and unusual that they led to intense floods that swept away homes, and claimed hundreds of lives in Germany, China, the USA, and Turkey. Millions of people and communities around the world are at risk. The climate crisis is dangerously close to spiralling out of control. Is it too late to stop it? We need to act fast, or there will be catastrophic consequences for the people and the planet on which we depend. Will we be able to keep our heads above water?"

Shark Junction
"Roca Partida looks little more than a rocky outcrop inhabited by seabirds. But below the waterline, the steep mountainous walls are surrounded by the greatest concentrations of fish of any reef in the world. This tiny island is one of four in the Revillagigedo archipelago, better known today as the Socorro Islands. Silky sharks, scalloped hammerheads, Galapagos sharks and silvertip sharks are seen in numbers rarely found in the world’s oceans. Socorro’s extreme shark behaviour is in full throttle when another baitball attracts hundreds of sharks and tuna attacking the fish until the bitter end. These islands may be small but they are more than a match for some of the biggest names in the world’s shark hall of fame."
