"In this episode a 40-ton lorry rammed full of scrap metal overturns and spills its steel load across a major A road during rush hour, and Lantern recovery op Steve Knight is called to the scene. 25 tonnes of metal must be removed from the lorry before it can be lifted and with a damaged 5th wheel, it’s a job that will push Steve and his team to the limit. At Crouch HQ there’s excitement in the air as the team give trucking superfan Chris and his disabled daughter, the ride of his life by taking him to his wedding in a big orange truck. Late at night, recovery op Snod is called to the side of the M69 to recover two crashed cars. With one on its side with the hand brake off, he must take care righting it to make sure it doesn’t roll into the passing traffic. It’s particularly tough job for Snod as his friend was killed on the same stretch of road whilst recovering a vehicle."
