That is unique in the world. Extreme winds, very little space and the abyss lurking all around - the construction is a very delicate job. The weather on the Zugspitze can change abruptly. The construction has to be completed as quickly as possible. A special helicopter flies the individual parts up the mountain. The conditions on the Zugspitze only allow for helicopter assembly. A masterpiece of engineering and a feat of strength by its builders. Nerves of steel are needed here and above all: a head for heights."
